This policy explains cancellations and refunds for appointments booked through mdhealthcare.co.in with MD Health Care. It applies mainly to online consultations that are paid in advance.
1. Online consultation fees
When you book an online consultation, the consultation fee is collected at the time of booking via our payment gateway.
2. Cancellation by the patient
- Cancelled at least 4 hours before the scheduled time: eligible for a full refund.
- Cancelled within 4 hours of the scheduled time or a no-show: the fee is generally non-refundable, as the doctor’s time has been reserved.
- To cancel, contact us by phone with your booking details.
3. Cancellation or rescheduling by the hospital
If the doctor is unavailable, or the appointment is affected by a doctor’s leave or a hospital holiday, we will offer you a reschedule or a full refund of any amount paid.
4. Refund method & timeline
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through the payment gateway.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank / payment provider.
5. In-person (offline) visits
Fees for in-person visits are generally paid at the hospital and are handled per hospital billing practice; online-refund terms above do not apply to amounts not collected online.
6. Failed or duplicate payments
If your payment fails but money is debited, or you are charged twice for the same booking, the amount is auto-reversed by the payment gateway, usually within 5–7 business days. If it is not, contact us with the transaction reference.
